Starbug

I painted alongside Kelly Allen a set construction of 'Starbug' from the TV series Red Dwarf for an AA plc advert.

Work involved sampling then preparing the polystyrene polyurethane coated construction with Toupret Powdered Interior Filler. Sanding back for a smooth surface. Priming and painting in Green Deluxe Trade paint using a spray gun. Applying vinyl stickers and red, black and white tape. Spraying dark green and dark brown paint over stencils to create more depth. Washes of black paint and Mylands Gloss Glaze to represent oil.

Lastly spraying Polyvine Dead Flat Glaze to seal and protect the surface.
