Serge Don Quixote
Flower Cloth
I was ask to contribute a piece of scenic art for the foyer of the newly refurbished Linbury Theatre. The piece was a flower cloth from the ROH production of Don Quixote.
The cloth itself is made of black serge with an underpainting of flex coat. The paint itself was applied in washes using Rosco paint which I had colour mixed. The serge was then cut out and attached to netting and pockets, top and bottom, using flex bond.
