Don Carlo

I produced two cloths for the production of Don Carlo for Fulham Opera.

Both cloths consist of the same geomantic symbol but differ in scale. The work involved laying out some cotton canvas, drawing out the design, masking out the negative space and spraying the whole cloth with Hatosilk black. For the larger of the two cloths I created pockets at the top and bottom to allow it to be flown.
